This online Manual for SHRAB Members has been developed to enhance the knowledge base and effectiveness of the State Historical Records Advisory Boards (SHRABs) and the individuals who serve as their leaders and members. We have assembled information and guidelines that will support the administration and development of the Historical Records Advisory Board in each state or territory. These materials are supplemented by information resources on the CoSA and NHPRC websites. 

This handbook, published in September 2015, provides essential information for members of the Wyoming State Historical Records Advisory Board (SHRAB). It covers the board's mission, responsibilities, and legal framework, along with background on the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) and the National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC). It also includes attachments on government ethics and public meeting regulations.
